Iowa State University’s 100 million pixel virtual reality room -- 10-foot by 10-foot -- just got $4 million in equipment upgrades, including an HP computer with 96 GPUs, twenty four Sony digital projectors, an eight-channel audio system, and ultrasonic motion tracking technology. This new facility will open in the fall.
