Priced from $100k, the 2018 Saleen S1 weighs under 2700-pounds, thanks to an aluminum tub and carbon fiber body. It draws power from a turbocharged 2.5L four engine that makes 450 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, enabling the supercar to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, while topping out at 180 mph. “Additionally, thanks to a wishbone suspension and Continental performance tires, the S1 will be able to pull an impeccable 1.2gs of lateral acceleration. The S1 will start at $100,000; the tuner began taking $1000 pre-orders at the show today. North American deliveries are expected to begin in late summer 2018,” reports Road & Track.
