2020 Harley Davidson LiveWire Electric Motorcycle

Harley-Davidson first unveiled the LiveWire all-electric motorcycle concept in 2014, but now, they’ve officially revealed their production model at the European motorcycle show EICMA. This bike uses a permanent-magnet motor powered by a lithium-ion battery, and the electric drivetrain sits low in the chassis, contributing to a low center of gravity for better handling. You’ll also find large 11.8-inch disc brakes up front, 120mm front / 180mm rear tires, ABS and traction control. Continue reading for another video, more pictures and information.

“The bike comes with a built-in Level 1 charging cord that plugs into a standard household outlet, with adapters for Level 2, Level 3, and other charging standards. H-D says all dealerships that sell the LiveWire will be equipped with DC fast charging stations. The LiveWire will go on sale in 2019, as the first of what the company promises will be a full portfolio of electric motorcycles available by 2022,” reports Road & Track.
