Tesla Motors annual shareholder meeting commenced earlier this week, and it wasn’t just about financials, as there was a 2020 Tesla Roadster prototype at the event too. It joins the red as well as midnight silver colors, and confirms that these three will be available at launch. “The open-top EV is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60mph (0-96km/h) in just 1.9 seconds and to reach the 100mph (161km/h) mark 4.2 seconds after departure. Moreover, it’s said to run the quarter mile in a mere 8.9 seconds and max out at over 250mph (402km/h). But the second-gen Roadster isn’t all about performance, as its 200kWh battery pack will apparently allow it to travel for up to 620mi (998km) in between charges,” reports Car Scoops.
