In the wake of the terrible tragedy at the offices of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, artists worldwide have come together to pay tribute to the 12 people who were lost in that event by drawing cartoons that express their thoughts and emotions better than any words ever could. First up, we have Lucille Clerc’s image, which shows three views of a single pencil, one intact, one snapped in half and one with the back half-sharpened, so it comprises two pencils.
