3GSM: PocketSurfer 2 Hands-On

Touted as the "world's fastest handheld", DataWind's PocketSurfer 2 needs just 7-9 seconds to fully load a web page, as you'll see in the demo. Flipped open, you'll find a full QWERTY keypad and widescreen display. Watch after the jump.
The DataWind PocketSurfer 2 sports a pretty attractive-looking design to start with, boasting what appear to be touch-sensitive keys that disappear behind the glossy black casing when not in use

It features a QWERTY keyboard and a wide screen display. To access the screen and keyboard you flip the device open in what looks to be a similar way to the old PSION series 3a. The device uses windows internet explorer but does not use the windows mobile OS. Using the server version of IE it allows for a full web browser experience which is a great way forwards.
