NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded 4-hours worth of incredible solar eruptions and compressed it into a 35-second video for your viewing enjoyment. Continue reading to watch.

Note the scale of this scene: it shows a region about 100,000 km (60,000 miles) across! The Earth would easily fit under the arch of this rising gas.
