Floppy Disk Bag

Now here's a nifty DIY project that makes good use of all those 3.5-inch floppy disks you have laying around. To make your own, you'll need a "drill, 1/8" drill bit, pliers, floppy disks (CRUCIAL), links (bits of chain from your local bead store), nails, a plank o' wood, and a pen. Full instructions here. MintyBoost USB Charger

The MintyBoost is a great project for those lazy Sundays. This DIY USB charger will provide your 5th-generation iPod with up to three hours of use on just two AA batteries. Step-by-step instructions can be found at Instructables -- a kit is available for $19.50. [Source]

9V LED Lamp

Here's a simple project that turns a 9V battery into a fully functional LED lamp. You'll need one new 9V battery, one gutted 9 volt battery, three high intensity LED’s (white, 25.000 mcd - 3,8 volt and 20 mA - 35 degrees), and one magnet. Full instructions here. One drawback:
The benefit of this is that you don't have any losses in a resistor and the battery will end up lasting longer - but the LED's will not operate on 100%.

Bump Key

So you've heard about Bump Keys, now find out how to make one. Video after the jump.
These are keys with all the cuts at or slightly below the deepest level for a key made by the manufacturer, and a small amount of material removed at the tip, and, where applicable, at the shoulder - the part of the key that prevents the key from entering the lock too deeply

that minty boost is cool but if you are a first time solderer..dont use this as ur first experiment. Go try to make the light up bawls bottle or just buy an led a simple board, a 9 volt connector and get that working. once you master soldering then tackle the minty boost.

the taser is the only one that i haven't seen before. why spend alot money on self defence devices when a couple dollar hidden device is available.
8
hey loppydisk....(the guy who made the first comment)...maybe you should know something before you start talking....this taser thing is very unlikely to incapacitate or even harm anyone...it does hurt badly....but ive been shocked by one like six times in the process of making it....store sold tasers are much much more effective....just thought I should say this before someone tries some heroe stunt wit a camera and gets killed
9
Funny video with the bump key, and its eaven more fynny that this kind of locks is still in use. But that mood lamp shall be the first build I will try to do :-)

Yea... The one on your list about making bump keys. I've found it MUCH easier to buy the keys from a site like http://www.bumpkey.us rather than actually making them. It saves you a ton of time and they work 5/6 times versus 1/6.. heh

I have built a small remote controlled robot out of 3 simple toy cars, these cars were the simple tumbling cars without a remote and could move only in forward direction. I used some ply wood, switches ,wires, a plastic box as its remote and NO electronics and converted it into a robot that was able to move forward ,backward, turn left&right and that's not the end I also built a robotic arm at its top that could lift light loads. And that's all i did myself.I made it 8 months before when i just passed my 10th class.I am waiting for your reply...
