Rubber bands by themselves definitely aren’t the most exciting office supplies around, but when used in these seven cool DIY guns / weapons — Disintegrator minigun pictured above — it’s an entirely different story. Continue reading to see them all.

7. Wooden Rubber Band Gun

Though not as powerful as the others, there’s just something about this wooden rubber band gun that gives it an old western-type feel. That’s right, we believe it’s something cowboys would actually use if real guns weren’t available.

2. Silver Wolf Rubber Band Gun

Rubber band guns don’t get much sleeker than the all-metal Silver Wolf. With quick reload action, a safety lever, laser sight, and flash light, it’s a force to be reckoned with, if you’re a paper target that is.

5. P504 Rubber Band Machine Gun

Looking for something just as powerful as the Disintegrator, but don’t want something gigantic to lug around? Look no further than OGG CRAFT’s P504 rubber band machine gun. It has a 46-round capacity and features a winding lever firing system.

4. Yeti30 Submachine Rubber Band Gun

Weighing just 2.86-pounds, thanks to its all-aluminum construction, the Yeti30 submachine rubber band gun is fully-automatic and can fire up to 100-rounds-per-minute. Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on pricing or availability.

3. Disintegrator

From afar, it may look like a toy, but the Disintegrator will put just about any toy gun to shame. Its creator — YouTube user “crunchysaviour” — says the motorized, cordless twin rubber band minigun is capable of firing 40 bands per second. That’s not all, “its 24 revolving barrels hold up to 288 standard-sized #36 bands, and the gun can be fired from a tripod, a table mount or from the hip.”

2. Slingshot Crossbow

DIY weapon man Joerg Sprave is back at it again, and this time, he unveils a slingshot crossbow capable of firing two bands accurately and simultaneously. He’ll be teaching all of us how to build our very own in an upcoming video.

1. Slingshot Band Cannon

Though this slingshot cannon fires exercise bands, it’s still the world’s first nonetheless. That’s not all, this contraption can also fire “a 3-inch steel ball over 650 feet through the air.”
