Devon Carrow-Sperduti, a 7-year-old boy from Buffalo, New York, suffers from potentially fatal allergies and is unable to attend school in-person. Thanks to technology, or more specifically the VGo Robot, he's able to attend school virtually. The VGo robot, which costs around £3,000, can travel between classes on its wheeled base. It's unclear how Devon's classmates feel about a robot sitting among them, but his mum is clearly a big fan. "The VGo is basically a virtual Devon," she says. "He does exactly the same schoolwork as any other child. The only difference is that Devon is not in the classroom." She failed to add whether Roboswot had ever been given a detention.
