American Airlines Flight 331 (AA 331) Crash in Jamaica Causes Plane to Snap in Half

American Airlines Flight 331 (AA 331) from Miami literally broke apart after landing at Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica. The plane "skidded across a road and halted at the edge of the Caribbean Sea," due in part to the poor visibility caused by inclement weather. Continue reading for the news report.

The plane's fuselage was cracked, its right engine broke off from the impact and the left main landing gear collapsed, an American Airlines spokesman said.
