Coffee Cup Animals

Animals may not drink coffee every morning, but some of the tiniest creatures love spending their free time in the cups we use for our morning brew. For example, the dwarf rabbit – caused by the effects of a single dwarfing gene – fits perfectly in a normal-sized coffee cup. On a related note, did you know that the earliest credible evidence of either coffee drinking or knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the 15th century, in the Sufi Muslim monasteries around Mocha in Yemen?
