Another Look: Heliodisplay

Gabriel Slate -- San Francisco-based technology reporter -- gives us another look at this nifty technology. Just to recap, the "Heliodisplay M2" mid-air projecter is capable of projecting images from any video source onto a thin layer of smoke or mist. Video after the jump.
The bottom frame of the image hover a few inches from the Heliodisplay and project up to 28″ (71cm) into the air. The interactive M2i allows desktop navigation in a PC environment such that floating images or video can be manipulated supporting a 'virtual' touchscreen enabling cursor control
