Apple Releases New "Get a Mac" Ad: "Security"

Apple has just released a new "Get a Mac" advert, titled "Security", which pokes fun at Vista. What are your thoughts? Video after the jump.

New "Get a Mac" Ad - Security The latest installment of Mac rules Windows ad is here. Titled security it makes fun of Microsoft's latest OS Vista. Apple is hellbend on saying Hasta la vista 'Vista'. (Watch the ad after the jump)...

I can't understand why Apple has these commercials. They say its "PC" vs. "MAC" but the content of the commercial is "Gates" vs. "Jobs". If it was really PC vs. MAC the PC "Team" would also include at least 5 unique versions Linux, and MAC would get ganked. I seriously don't see why Steve Jobs is trying to pick a fight; I guess they try to build themselves up by trying to knock others down. I guess they are trying to eliminate the competition because MAC is still better then nothing.

Ha ha I had beta tested Vista and it was worthless then I tested the released Vista it to was worthless. This reminds me of when Microsoft came out with Windows ME.

i really hate those commercials. Oh sure, if everyone is as stupid as the PC guy is acting then everyone should go switch to a Mac, but honestly, I have yet to catch a major virus or been bogged down with so many adds i couldn't even function. Ya know why? because i have common sense, something most Americans are without.

I like the Mac ads, But this one points on the disadvantage of Windows rather then the advantage of Mac, and that's kinda lame on Apples behalf.. Sweet ad as it is though :)

One of the best ads I've seen in this series. To the point, witty and friendly, and makes a strong statement.

lame lame lame, Apple is getting so f---ing lame anymore. The commercials are NOT cool anymore (as if they ever were). Mac OSx sucks and quiet frankly isn't any better than Vista. Vista isn't bad at all, I don't understand what all the bad hype is about Vista, works fine on my computer. If there's anything I've learned about Mac, is that, anytime anyone tries to one up them, their feelings get hurt and they turn 12 yrs old all over again...this includes so-called Apple Fanboys and girls, for example the Zune...wayyyyyy better than the ipod could ever dream to be but yet its so hated. What about the iphone (which isn't even really an original Mac name, they stole it from Cisco). Which is going to be so expensive when it comes out nobody will be able to afford it and if you can, enjoy only 4 hrs of battery life on the pathetic iphone and oh don't forget no removable battery. I can't wait till the day comes when Apple goes down in flames, just like they were about to before the ipod saved their asses.

User Computer I found that the PC people who are offended by these comercials mistakenly think the PC guy is the user, and yet clearly the PC guy represents the PC computer.

I'm running Vista but that is some funny sh**! It's completely true... User Account Control WILL drive you insane! Well written ad even if as ES mentioned it only "points out the disadvantage of Windows rather then the advantage of Mac"
