what is wrong with apple. those are lies, and they shouldnt be allowed to do things like that, although i would like to see windows come up with some sort of counter-ads for these.

the funny thing about this ad is that apple is the one paying actors to portray windows in an inaccurate way...while all of microsoft's ads have absolutely nothing to do with/bashing OSX at all. these macs were funny at first...now they just seem really immature and tasteless. although those are the types of people apple tries to appeal to (idiots who go for the shiny/trendy items instead of the better ones).

"i would like to see windows come up with some sort of counter-ads for these." Good God you're kidding right!? I would hate to see other companies start down this juvenile road. When you look at ads from say Dell, HP, Intel and any number of other tech companies they're professional companies that act like adults selling to adults instead of spoiled 6 year olds selling to spoiled 5 year olds. Holy crap you scared me with that. Bad, bad thomas...

microsoft wouldnt bother to slander apple considering they have all that money and an idea that was stolen so many years ago..ahem. The ad is funny. Get over it...really not that big of a deal.

someguy - the difference is, everyone knows Macs hired actors. Microsoft actually engaged in astroturfing - pretending to be unbiased voices of support to build up a false sense of support for their own company. I used to hate Macs and thought these kinds of commercials were smarmy and snobbish. But the truth is, the smarminess ends on the surface level, and they really do put out good products with good business ethics. Microsoft, on the other hand...
