Apple Touchscreen Phone Circa 1983
Apparently the iPhone wasn't Apple's first touchscreen phone, the gadget you see pictured above supposedly made its debut in 1983 as a concept, designed by Marc Esslinger. Hit the jump for another picture.
It was his father Hartmut Esslinger who designed the famous Apple IIc, which was Apples first portable computer (1984)[via NewLaunches]
