Artist and designer Alexandre Chapelin spent 1.5-years researching / testing materials needed to create the stunning “Starry Sea” table, which combines both stars and sea into one piece. It’s crafted around an unusual piece of marble from Anguilla, a neighboring island of St. Martin/San Maarten, also the birthplace of Chapelin’s “LA TABLE” brand, and acrylic resin. “Also, this table has a wifi system that lights up the table and all its senses. The battery charges in 6 hours giving you up to 300 hours of illumination. ‘Starry Night’ can be controlled using a remote control or simply an app in your smartphone,” adds Chapelin.
