Ben Young, an extremely hard working self-taught artist, layers multiple sheets of hand-cut glass to create incredible sculptures of ocean waves and watery landscapes. That's not all, in his spare time, he surfs and even builds boats professionally, all of which is inspired by his upbringing in New Zealand's beautiful Bay of Plenty. After a complex planning phase, the artist sketches his designs, constructs models, hand-cuts sheets of glass, and then laminates layer upon layer to create gorgeous, organic forms."
