Battlefield 2142 Gameplay Demonstration

Planet Battlefield gives us a 20 minute demonstration of Battlefield 2142's Titan mode. Despite its futuristic theme, the gameplay looks promising. Watch after the jump.

==Game Info== Het jaar is 2142 en de dreiging van een nieuwe ijstijd zorgt voor een wereldwijde paniek. De waarheid is duidelijk en meedogenloos: de bodem die niet wordt bedekt door een dikke ijslaag kan maar een fractie van de wereldbevolking voeden. Sommigen zullen overleven, de meeste mensen sterven. In Battlefield 2142 voer je een strijd op leven en dood en schaar je je aan de zijde van een van de twee supermachten: de European Union (Europese Unie) of de onlangs geformeerde Pan Asian Coalition. Je stort je in de strijd met een verwoestend arsenaal aan hypermoderne vuurwapens, verhullingapparatuur en stationaire geschutsposten. De game speelt zich af in de toekomst, dus zullen er mechs, futuristische vliegtuigen en allerlei andere technologische snufjes zijn om je vijand aan gort te knallen. Maximaal 64 spelers kunnen in teams de frontlinies betreden, zowel in tactische gevechtseenheden of achter de schermen als bevelhebber om de strategische aanvallen van hun teamgenoten te begeleiden. Door in het spel successen te behalen stijg je in rang en speel je beloningen vrij, zoals nieuwe wapens en medailles.
