BenQ Confirms iPhone

According to Taiwan-based BenQ, "an iPod phone is definitely coming.". They claim several of their suppliers have already been approached by Apple to manufacture parts for the phone. We previously stated a Q4 release, but BenQ says to expect "an iPod with phone functions within the next few months".
"Even a modest showing for an Apple multimedia cellphone could put a dent in Motorola's profits," Barron's says. "If Apple were to grab just 1% of the 900 million phones expected to be sold world"

well, its better than that mini, i still think its a stupid idea, just making ipods more popular, thers already a university in the US that gives ALL students an ipod (for listening to elctures out of class of course) i just think its wy too popular...

that better not be anything what it looks like... its horrible.... not that id buy it anyways.... i promise never to own an apple product... especially the over popular things liek ipods.... stupid.....

i'm going to have to agree with the comments in the quoted part of the article, apple can make a dent. apple is not trying to be popular, but instead revolutionary. i own basically ALL apple products, as many as i can have because watching apple grow is amazing and being a part of it is great. apple knows that what they make will make people happy and i can't lie, i've never been unhappy. now its just a money issue, rumored ipod [HUGE SCREEN] video or soon to be released iphone (?).
