Bird' Nest

Birds Nest

A group of Chinese farmers spent approximately two weeks recreating Beijing's The Bird's Nest using "800 pieces of bamboo." Click here for first picture in gallery.

The villagers say they plan to use the structure for local sports events. Apparently, this award winning design has inspired some Chinese villagers in Hangzhou city to build their own smaller and cheaper version of the stadium.
