People from Southern California, San Francisco Bay, Nevada and even as far south as Mexico, reported seeing a bright moving UFO-like object in the night sky. According to the U.S. Navy, it was just an unarmed missile test, despite it being uncommon for a self-propelled precision-guided munition system to hover in place. “Hundreds of residents reported seeing the bright phenomenon in Anaheim, Temecula, Rancho Palos Verdes and Santa Monica. Several speculated that the object may have been a missile or rocket. Others suggested it was a comet or other celestial occurrence,” reports KTLA.
