Similar to Sprint error 2112, RIM is also reporting an outage affecting customers using their device for email-related tasks. However, this outage affects all BlackBerry users regardless of the network they're currently on (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.). We'll keep you posted once more information becomes available.
Technicians are working on the outage, the Waterloo, Ontario-based company said in an e-mailed statement today. Phone service and Web browsing aren't affected, RIM said.[via Bloomberg - image via]
