Apparently, BMW has filed the needed homologation papers with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for their R1200R Concept Roadster, so we may be seeing it on the roads sooner than later. Just to recap, its 1170cc, 2-cylinder engine is capable of delivering 125hp @ 7,750RPM and 92 lb-ft of torque at 6500RPM, mated to a sport-oriented 6-gear transmission. It also features a milled aluminum tail section, as well as an underbelly exhaust that acts as a chin spoiler and as silencer, with the end-pipe sticking proudly upwards under the seat.
