Boeing 787 Dreamliner First Flight

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is set to make its first flight as early as today, "depending on a number of factors, including final taxi testing, weather and clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration." It will reportedly fly during a window that begins at 10am PST. Video of a test run after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

"We've already put the fuel into the airplane," Boeing spokeswoman Yvonne Leach said, adding that the operation occurred in recent days.

For the love of god, get someone on the boeing team that can make a plane look GOOD pls?! Does it really cost more to make it look attractive, more streamlined at least? Why are we still flying in things that look like tin cans (which is what they are) but at least more attractive..some times I think we're being kept deliberately behind by the powers that be whilst they enjoy the fruits of exotic technology behind closed doors
