Here's another interesting brain-computer project: two users are typing using only their thoughts to control the interface. Unfortunately, no other information was provided on how the technology works. Video demonstration after the jump. This is what Brian had to say:

Seems like a novel idea, but that interface sure is rough right now. Would only take a few days to type a paragraph.

If i recall correctly this research is done by the german Frauenhofer Institut für integrierte Schaltkreise. The video is from this years cebit. Sweet :)

If I were a bar tender this technology would be great because instead of having to guess what a guest wants to drink when they can't make up their mind, I could just wait until their selection comes typed out on the screen! Yeeeehaaaa! Yeah, great technology! Humanity is advancing by leaps and bounds...kind of.

Dave Interesting topic... I'm working in this industry myself and I don't agree about this in 100%, but I added your page to my bookmarks and hope to see more interesting articles in the future
