Helen Evan and Heiko Hansen have developed a wall of virtual bricks that uses a camera to monitor what goes on in front (of the wall). Once a person approaches, the camera snaps a picture and reflects it on the surface -- "in a thousand rectangular pixels". More pics after the jump.
The image of the inter-actor slips onto the wall and after a few seconds, freezes as a photograph. Brix, prefigures a new form of palimpsestual electronic architecture.
