Currently on display at Canon's headquarters in Japan, a copier and $6500 camera -- "Canon 400mm f/4 lens ($5,500) and an older 1Ds body (around $1,000 used)" -- were sliced in half to essentially show "why this stuff costs as much as it does." Continue reading to see the camera.

That lens is the beautiful and lust-worthy 400MM f/4 DO IS USM that lists for $8,900 and usually goes for about $5,500 in the store.
