Unveiled at CES 2011, Microsoft Surface 2 now features “PixelSense technology that can recognize up to 50 simultaneous touch points, as well as objects placed on top of the screen.” Video after the break. Click here for more pictures of the interface.

The first system to run on Surface 2.0 will be the Samsung SUR 40, which runs on a powerful AMD Athlon II X2 Dual-Core CPU, running at 2.9GHz, along with an AMD Radeon HD 6700M GPU with DirectX 11 support.

At CES 2011, eCoupled — best known for their wireless charging technology — “managed to build an inductive receiver into a Tesla Roadster, which was happily charging in the middle of their booth.” Video after the break.

Once the spot is installed, you park your EV about 4″ (in the case of the Tesla) over an induction pad. An adapter is fitted to the underbody of the Tesla.

Finally, now you can enjoy touchscreen PC gaming on-the-go, thanks to the Razer Switchblade. Its “dynamic keyboard and the multitouch interface are the linchpins that give this portable gaming device the ability to play on the go without sacrificing precision and control.” Video after the break. The 7-inch display looks good and coupled with the Intel Atom processor which runs both games at solid settings at a good clip – there is a good amount to like in a fairly slim package.

Motorola unveiled yet another 4G LTE-compatible handset, the Motorola DROID Bionic, at CES 2011. It features a 1.0-GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8.0-megapixel camera, and HDMI-out. No word yet on pricing or availability. Video preview after the break. Click here for more pictures.

Physically, the phone feels smooth in the same way a Droid 2 does, though a bit lighter — good news considering the LTE hardware and big display, but not entirely surprising when you take into account the lack of a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The Vizio Via tablet has been leaked ahead of CES 2011, and it will purportedly feature Wi-Fi, three speakers, HDMI-out, an 8-inch high resolution display, front-facing camera, and Google Android. No word yet on pricing or availability. Video after the break.

Expect TV manufacturers to be on their toes as well, since Vizio says it will bring 3DTVs to market that start at less than $300.
