MOC Pages member "Plum B" loves Gears of War and LEGO, so the two were combined to create the amazing Gears of War rifle you see above. It's not just a static sculpture however, as this weapon can fire rubber bands to boot. Video after the break. Click here to see more.

Without a doubt, this is the nerdiest, coolest Lego weapons ever created: a fully functional replica of the Lancer Assault Rifle from Gears of Wars.

More than just a prop, this fully-automatic Gears of War lancer -- based on a NERF Stampede -- has functional foam chainsaw blades and a 20 dart magazine, all powered by rechargeable AA batteries. Video and more pictures after the break.

Grenades can have their arc adjusted even after the throw animation has begun (great for last minute adjustments to compensate for enemy movement). The damage bonus for perfect active reloads is temporary - either you use that benefit right away, or you lose it.

Microsoft Game Studios has just released a new batch of Gears of War 3 screenshots, giving us a sneak peak at the game's characters and levels. This installment includes "a new mode of play called Arcade. Players in this mode will have an old fashion type scoring system.It also includes a four player gameplay." Chris Morgan, the screenwriter for the upcoming Gears of War movie, wants to cast The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson as Marcus Fenix; because he can "play the tough guy, but he can also play the nuanced, sensitive funny sad moments as well." This title is set to hit theaters in 2010.

While you may think thespians such as Sean Penn, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Willis would do well in the role, Morgan actually likes Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, he told MTV.
