When you first start up the Blu-ray version, the game undergoes a ten minute install procedure, resulting in a save file totaling 4,727 megabytes. This is much larger than the 1,877 megabytes required for the initial download of the digital version

Initially, you have 3,500,000 credits in your purse, making only a few cars accessible. Once you've picked up a cheap car, you can work your way through race events, earning cash and unlocking more events as you progress.
