Finally, the Halo: Reach countdown has winded down, and gamers worldwide can get their hands on this masterpiece. The campaign is excellent, backed by solid storytelling and a powerful audio-visual experience. The competitive multiplayer is familiar, yet brand new with a lot more options and a faster pacing. And the cooperative Firefight arcade mode has finally met its potential.[via IGN]

A couple of Halo: Reach videos were shown at Gamescom 2010, and they provide us with a preview of the new Firefight map. This map "takes place inside a covenant cruiser, in a small hanger with large entrances on two sides of the enclosed space." Videos after the break. Click here for more screenshots.
According to Bungie it's one of the smallest Firefight maps in the game, so there's rarely a time when you're not firing and/or fleeing for cover.[via IGN]

From afar, you'd never guess that this homemade Halo assault rifle is based on the NERF Recon CS-6 toy. Its creator, Moz, says: "I decided to keep all the functionality of the nerf gun to give me something to show off. (cocking, loading, etc) This project has been on and off for about 2 years now."
