No, this isn't a late April Fool's joke, but rather real Street Fighter-branded Hello Kitty merchandise that is slated for release around Q4 2012. Items will included toys, stationary, and more. We'll keep you posted should a video game be announced. Here's what Joshua Izzo, Director of Licensing, Capcom Entertainment has to say:
"Capcom has long admired Sanrio and their ability to create memorable and cherished lifestyle brands so it is a distinct pleasure to partner with them for this new cross-over line of merchandise,"..."The combination of Street Fighter and Hello Kitty will offer fans a whole new way to experience our characters.

Hello Kitty isn't synonymous with power tools, but this chainsaw is an exception, as it was created for the upcoming fan movie "The Hello Kitty Chainsaw Massacre". No word yet on if this custom creation will go into production.
The provenance of this Hello Kitty chainsaw, complete with a splatter pattern of purple hearts on the blade, is unknown, and maybe it's better that way.

Sotec's latest netbook may be Hello Kitty-branded, but it's definitely no slouch when it comes to performance. Powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.60-GHZ processor and 1GB of RAM, it runs Windows 7 with ease, as you'll see after the break.
The netbook was able to provide decent performance, from normal web surfing while data was being transferred in the background, as well as opening 400 pictures in Bridge, and even editing in Photoshop CS3.
