Ever wonder how gold bars are made? If so, look no further than this “How It’s Made” segment. Here’s one thing you may not have known about gold: “automobiles may use gold for heat dissipation; McLaren uses gold foil in the engine compartment of its F1 model.” Video after the break. This isn’t a retro How it’s Made segment, but rather a real company that’s still pressing vinyl records. Gotta Groove Records, located in Cleveland (OH), specializes “in 7″ and 12″ vinyl creation/manufacturing using PVC molding.” Video after the break.

Vinyl records are making a comeback. Yeah, in the world of instant music downloads and portable music, a lot of music fans are falling in love with vinyl – again.
