MJair of Niketalk forums recently awoke to find his first-generation iPod Nano on fire, causing the smoke alarm to go off. Fortunately, nothing was damaged by the blaze. Click here for first picture in gallery.

On a quick panicked inspection of the room, an "orange glow" near his PS3 was seen. That orange glow was nothing less than a fire, approximately a foot wide in length

A modder decided to enhance the iPod Nano movie-viewing experience by stuffing the player inside a 70s-style slide viewer. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Formerly a 35mm slide viewer, the device was repurposed through a bit of Dremel to fit an iPod Nano (because it happens to have a screen size not so different from 35mm film)

Brian Lam recently got his hands on a Zune Flash and sets to find out just how practical it really is, when compared to the iPod Nano. Click here for more pictures.

More or less - the Zune has a 1.8-inch screen vs the 2-inches on the pod. Don't be fooled by the black border around the Zune's screen, which makes it look bigger than it is, but to Microsoft's credit, the black border helps the screen pop nicely

The Nano will come bundled with three games, including a circular-Arkanoid rip-off called Vortex, and apparently you'll be able to purchase more from the iTunes store
