The Lamborghini Reventon was the company’s most expensive model until the Veneno was launched, priced at $2-million USD. It has a top speed of 221mph (355.7 km/h), and limited to only 20 vehicles worldwide, with one additional car (serially numbered 00/20) made for the Lamborghini Museum. Despite the fighter jet-inspired exterior, nearly all of the mechanical elements were sourced from the Murcielago LP640. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery. …the 650-horsepower Reventon may be badder than both John Shaft and Truck Turner combined, but when matched against a fighter jet whose twin Turbo-Union RB199 engines combine to make 39,332 horsepower at sea level, it’s bound to come up a little shy

More horsepower has been coaxed from the 6.5-liter DOHC Lamborghini V12, bringing its output to 650 horsepower. On the inside, you’ll find digital displays in place of the normal gauges, as well as a touchscreen audio system. First picture in gallery.

Although it is based on the extraordinarily successful Murcielago LP640, the exterior design of the Reventon is completely new. Just like the base model, the exterior of the second edition is made of CFC, a composite carbon fiber material, which is as stabile as it is light. The exterior components are glued and riveted to the body comprised of CFC and steel, resulting in the dimensions and proportions of the Reventon being very similar to the Murcielago
