Offering Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs, 1TB hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 memory, and ATI Radeon graphics. Available in April, priced from $999.

Optional to the system is a remote control which can also be used as a game controller, a VOIP handset to make and receive calls, and as an air mouse -- that's a lot of functions.

The guys over at GottaBeMobile provides us with a hands-on preview of the Lenovo W700ds and its slide-out monitor. The model you'll see features a "2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and NVIDIA Quadro FX3700M graphics." Video after the break.

As for those displays, the primary is a 17-inch WUXGA with a 1920 x 1200, and the secondary panel is a 10.6-inch WXGA with a 768 x 1200 resolution.

And if you stick with the standard 4-cell battery, the X200 can run for about 4.2 hours with a jump to 10 hours if you upgrade to the 8-cell. According to Lenovo, that's a 50% improvement on battery life from their old tablets.

At 21 x 173 x 84-mm, the Lenovo IdeaPad U8 features a 4.8-inch touchscreen, Intel Atom processor, 2GB of memory, 6GB Flash, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, dual cameras, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPS, and digital television compatibility. Video after the break.

Expect to see it trotted out tomorrow as Intel's San Francisco IDF gets underway -- with any luck, it'll be sporting WiMAX for a North American / European release.

You'll also get a 1-year warranty, a trio of USB 2.0 ports, FireWire / VGA sockets, a 6-in-1 multicard reader, Mini-PCIe / ExpressCard slots, audio in / out and a pair of stereo speakers. It should be noted that the 4-cell battery is only rated for 2-hours of use, while the rig can withstand up to 8-hours if the 7-cell Li-ion expansion pack is utilized, too

The Lenovo Ideapad U8 reportedly features a 4.8-inch touchscreen, an optical mouse "for one-handed operation", EDGE/3G support, "Live GPS", "and writing recognition, and support for MS Office applications." Video after the break.

We're guessing it'll also make a phone call or two with that 12-key numeric pad. And with Intel calling this a MID, don't expect to see a Microsoft OS riding that Atom, this pup's looking Linux to the bone.
