The Dell Mini 9 isn't the only ultra portable that's capable of running Mac OS X Leopard, as the guys over at Insanely Mac have managed to install it on a Sony VAIO P. Unfortunately, its "GMA-500 video chip remains an obstinate problem, refusing to allow real 3D graphics." Video after the break.

And while you might expect the Vaio P's GPS and 3G connections wouldn't work, what you might not expect is the lack of ethernet or Wi-Fi capability and apparently distorted audio.

Multitouch Mac OS X

Christian Moore managed to hack together a multitouch Mac OS X system, called the "Lux free open framework", using just "a simple Intel-based MacBook." Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

His Lux free open framework enables true multitouch interaction in Mac OS X. In fact, he says it can work under any platform and even a web browser, enabling complex user interfaces and object manipulation.
