Set for release in Q2 2011, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D has graphics that "look on par with (or even better than) the PlayStation 2 version of Snake Eater - developers told us prior to the debut of the 3DS that the hardware is well beyond Wii and approaching 360/PS3 capabilities with what the system can do." After a quick bit of acrobatics to show off the amazing depth of the 3DS system's stereoscopic display, you hit the title screen that shows off even more stereoscopic 3D in the title itself.

Finally, Konami's Metal Gear Arcade 3D has been revealed. What sets this arcade game apart from the others is that "you look around by swiveling your head (a camera on the bulky 3D goggles keeps track of everything), and control the movement of your character with an analog stick on your rifle." Your viewpoint in the game changes in line with the direction your head (in reality) is facing. There’s an analog stick on the gun, which allows you to move in the game independent of where you look in reality, too.

Konami has just released a new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer, showing the one and only colonel in-action, and despite his age, he's still got the skills. Hopefully, it's not just an April Fools joke. Continue reading to watch.
