DeviantArt user Porkshanks created this unusual looking MP3 player, with a Steampunk twist. Aside from the player, it boasts "a gutted pair of vintage Cannonball Empire headphones whose innards were replaced with modern-day Sony earphones." Click here for first picture in gallery.

Don't need all the extra features found in most digital audio players of today? Then check out Tok Tak, a simple MP3 player that looks very similar to a 3.5mm audio jack connector/adapter. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on if this concept will go into production. Click here for a picture of the docking station.

The plug dangles from your earphones when used on the go. People might mistake you for crazy walking around with what looks like earbuds attached to nothing but they’d be wrong. The Tok Tak also comes with a base station in which you can plug it in to recharge, upload new music, and act as a joystick controller to listen to your turns externally
