Ever wonder what a modern day NES, complete with aluminum shell and HDMI would look like? If so, then look no further than the Analogue NT, a $499 machine, that’s compatible with both NES as well as Famicom cartridges. This no-frills, top-loading machine does not add any extra features, but still manages to work with the original controllers. This incredible Tron-themed NES system doesn’t require a separate power supply or even batteries to light-up, just a dark room and some black lights. Plus, its creator “added some cool blue LEDs behind the power switches; the mod also has a pair of 1/4″ audio jacks so you can hook the console up to a stereo system.” Video after the break.

The glowy stuff used to create the TRON circuit design not just reactive to UV and black light, it keeps glowing for quite some time after the light source has been removed.

Apple has been known to reject emulators, such as C64, but Nescaline somehow made it past the reviewers and is available now for $6.99. Best of all, you won’t have to jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch to play your favorite NES games. Video after the break.

Nescaline comes with a basic load out of free games, but to play the games you actually want to play you will need to point the emulator to a .nes ROM file URL.
