Nissan GT-R Camera Car
Nissan made the 2020 GT-R NISMO to be the pinnacle of the iconic nameplate, complete with an upgraded engine, enhanced aerodynamics, and using lots of weight-saving materials. There was just one problem…how does one film it from the ground level? Introducing Mauro Calo, a professional precision driver and automotive video expert known for his work on big-budget blockbuster movies. He modified another Nissan GT-R for the job.

Most Expensive Nissan GTR
Nismo originally designed the concept of the Z-tune in Nissan announced the end of R34 Skyline production. Nismo then purchased used R34 GT-R V·Spec models, each with less than 18,000 miles on the odometer, which were then completely stripped and then resprayed to a “Z-tune Silver,” a special color exclusively for the Z-tune. Just one car was left in its original Midnight Purple III color. Simply put, every Z-Tune is handmade, with the car being completely stripped and re-built from the ground up. Industrial designer Enoch Gonzales gives us a glimpse at the next-generation Nissan GT-R, which is at least a couple of years away. His conceptual design blends elements from the current GT-R, Italdesign’s GT-R50, and a dash of the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo. Up front, you’ll find a large, hexagonal grille with the trademark V-shaped accent inside, angular headlights, and LEDs that stretch along the front fenders. The sideview reveals many sharp creases that lead the eye to the rear, and the traditional dual circular GT-R taillights, along with quad exhausts. Read more for additional pictures and information.

Celica Nissan GT-R

At first glance, or from afar, the rear of this Toyota Celica might pass as a wide body Nissan GT-R, but upon closer inspection, you’ll see that it’s just a knockoff. No word yet on what’s under the hood, but even if it does come equipped with a tuned twin-turbocharged 1,000 hp engine, most racers wouldn’t give it the time of day at the track.
