Four hours and $15 later, geek Ricky Brigante managed to turn a Segway i2 Personal Transporter into something you'd expect to see in TRON. Surprisingly enough, "using only white 2" reflective tape, a strand of blue LED Christmas lights and some electrical tape, Brigante took the plain black matte finish of his Segway and artfully applied the design using a mock-up model he made in Photoshop as a guide." GM has partnered with Segway, Inc. to produce the P.U.M.A., which "is basically a sit-down version of the Segway that can actually carry two or more passengers with a top speed of 35mph and a range of 35 miles." Video after the break.

Since the P.U.M.A. is self-balancing, we felt way less force when accelerating and decelerating than we would in a car, since our body was being "leaned" into it instead of pulled along.
