Sony has just released a new trailer and several pictures of their upcoming summer blockbuster: The Amazing Spider-Man 3D. The preview "gives a good glimpse of the villain, 'Dr. Curt Connors' or 'The Lizard,' (Rhys Ifans) and his action-packed collision with the Spider-Man." Click here for more pictures. A close friend of Peter Parker's father, Connors is one of Oscorp's leading scientific minds. He attempts to create a revolutionary regeneration serum to help re-grow limbs and human tissue. He elects himself "to be the first human test subject - but what becomes evident is that something goes horribly wrong," and thus emerges as the "The Lizard."

French Spider-Man Alain Robert truly lives up to his nickname, as he began his ascent of the 2,717-tall Burj Khalifa just before sunset and said before he began that he expected his climb to take six or seven hours." Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.

Robert has climbed more than 70 skyscrapers, including the Empire State Building, Chicago's Willis Tower and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, according to his website. The tower's owner, Emaar Properties, said the half-mile-high Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable stories.
