Subaru has created a special version of the BRZ, called the GT300, that will compete in Japan's SuperGT series next year. It features a wide body design and will pack nearly 300hp of power to go along with the styling. Video after the break. Click here for more pictures.

We have seen the future of Subaru, and it's the BRZ STI concept. The production model "is expected to be equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter flat-4, perhaps with as much as 200 bhp." If the car has about 200 bhp, that drag-inducing wing and diffuser won't make much sense. The weight reducing carbon-fiber roof helps reduce the car's center of gravity, but engineers say the BRZ's CG is already lower than a Porsche Boxster's.

Touted as the world's fastest snow cat vehicle, the TRAX STi combines two of Ken Block's favorite things in life: "driving a rally car in the snow and snowboarding in the powder in the backcountry." Video after the break.

It's then sent to Vermont SportsCar where the power is upped to 400 hp, EXE-TC Group N dampers are fitted to all four corners and (obviously, duh) the wheels are ripped off and replaced with cat tracks.

Edmunds Inside Line takes Ken Block's Subaru Impreza WRX STi out for a full road test. Its engine was built by Crawford Performance and pumps out a 565hp. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

Skipping 5th gear, the car still manages a 10.8-second pass through the quarter-mile at 123.7 mph. For reference, that's 0.7-second quicker than the Corvette ZR1.
