The official Star Wars Force Awakens trailer has only been out for slightly over a week, but many parodies have already been released, including a Disney-fied version, complete with Mickey Mouse ears. The Force Awakens is produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Lucasfilm and Bad Robot Productions, and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Second-unit filming began in April 2014 in Abu Dhabi and Iceland, with principal photography taking place between May and November 2014 in Abu Dhabi, and Pinewood Studios in England. Set for release in July 1, 2015, Terminator: Genisys is the fifth installment of the series and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as a T-800 cyborg. Principal photography began on April 21, 2014 in New Orleans, and ended on August 6, 2014 in San Francisco. Legacy Effects returned to create the Terminator robotic and make-up effects, led by John Rosengrant who had worked on the previous four Terminator films. After all of the teasers, the official Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens trailer has been released. Cinematographer Daniel Mindel stated that the film would rely on the employment of real locations and scale models over computer-generated imagery, in order to make the film aesthetically similar to the original Star Wars trilogy. Rian Johnson, director of Episode VIII, reiterated that Abrams will use little CGI and more practical, traditional special effects, saying, "I think people are coming back around to practical effects." Jurassic World is the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series. The film was in "development hell" for over a decade since the release of Jurassic Park III in 2001. The film was initially scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014, but production was temporarily halted due to a disagreement between writers and Universal Studios regarding the film's script and direction. The film is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015. Steven Spielberg, director of the first two films in the series, will act as executive producer as he did for the third film. Set to be released on April 3, 2015 in the US, Furious 7 takes place after Fast & Furious 6. After defeating Owen Shaw and his crew, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and the rest of the crew are able to return to the United States and live the normal life again as they had wanted, but Owen's older brother, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), is after Dominic, seeking revenge for the death of his brother, putting the entire crew in danger once more. During the Nintendo Direct presentation earlier today, director Masahiro Sakurai explained how Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will handle multiplayer: "Players will be able to play online with friends as well as other users in a handful of different multiplayer modes. Online multiplayer without friends comes in two distinct forms: For Fun and For Glory." That's not all, Charizard will be a selectable character in the game for both versions. Mario Kart 8, unlike its predecessors, features HD visuals and a focus on anti-gravity sections, allowing racers to drive on walls and ceilings. It also has local and online multiplayer modes for up to twelve racers, along with a new feature, called Mario Kart TV, which allows players to use Miiverse to share clips from their races. Here's a first look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, which was directed by Jonathan Liebesman and stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg. Transformers: Age of Extinction may be Michael Bay's fourth and final installment of the Hasbro-based sci-fi franchise, rebooting the series for a new director to take over.
