During the Nintendo Direct presentation earlier today, director Masahiro Sakurai explained how Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will handle multiplayer: "Players will be able to play online with friends as well as other users in a handful of different multiplayer modes. Online multiplayer without friends comes in two distinct forms: For Fun and For Glory." That's not all, Charizard will be a selectable character in the game for both versions. Mario Kart 8, unlike its predecessors, features HD visuals and a focus on anti-gravity sections, allowing racers to drive on walls and ceilings. It also has local and online multiplayer modes for up to twelve racers, along with a new feature, called Mario Kart TV, which allows players to use Miiverse to share clips from their races. Here's a first look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, which was directed by Jonathan Liebesman and stars Megan Fox, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, William Fichtner, Will Arnett and Whoopi Goldberg. Marvel has just released a 15-second teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy, ahead of the first full trailer set to air in the US tonight. Yes, it's true, the Dinobots have been confirmed to appear in Transformers: Age of Extinction by both producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and this new trailer, first shown during the Super Bowl yesterday. This is the first film in the series to not include Shia LaBeouf and also the first to feature an entirely new cast. Returning Transformers include Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
