Amazon is selling the Zune HD 32GB Player for just $172.99 shipped, originally priced at $269.99. This device lets you “stream, buy, and play all you want, including music, HD video, podcasts, games, and much more.” Product page.

The new Zune HD gives you access to many local HD Radio stations with crystal-clear digital sound at no extra cost. Receive additional channels from your local stations and get more of the content you love, including sports, news, and music, in various genres and formats.

The NVIDIA Tegra lineup, basically a system-on-a-chip with an ARM CPU, could be the most advanced mobile graphics processors yet. This demo shows that PGR: Ferrari Edition’s graphics are “easily on par with the PSP and quite possibly better.” Continue reading for the video. Microsoft has just released Zune HD v4.3 firmware and it features “support for upcoming 3d games and applications, as well as an auto-suggest feature for better text input, and other minor improvements.” Video demonstration after the break.

We’re hearing that those “minor improvements” include a snappier browser, so it’s pretty safe to say you’re only harming yourself if you don’t get this download going right now.

Amazon has the Zune 8GB Digital Media Player on sale for just $91.99 shipped — original MSRP of $199.99. Offering “a built-in FM tuner and buy-from-FM capabilities, wireless sync, Zune-to-Zune wireless sharing, video playback, and more.” Product page.

Click to buy from the built-in FM radio. Every Zune device lets you listen to your favorite FM radio stations and click to tag the songs you like for later purchase when you sync your device with your PC.

Looking at the demo video on board, its playback is butter-smooth on its 480×272-pixel screen. Zune HD goes on sale September 15, in either the 32GB model we have here for $290, or the 16GB for $220.
