Basically, the tech news aka “Social” is a bookmarking site that lets you submit related content from around the web — proudly Digg-inspired.
As you submit, vote, comment, etc. karma points are added and can be viewed in your profile. Yes, if you submit spammy stories and comments, your score will automatically decrease and vice versa. Karma points are automatically updated once every 24-hours (score viewable in your profile), reflecting up-to-date activity made from the start of your account. Users who register for more than one account will automatically be disqualified.
The top user (based on positive karma points) found in the top users list as of Sunday, May 26th, 2008 at 11:59pm PST, will win the Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000. Winner will be announced here on May 27th, 2008.
