Amphibious Vehicles

Let’s face it, driving can get boring, especially through barren landscapes, but these three amphibious vehicles aim to change that. Starting off, we have the $650K Terra Wind amphibious RV, which was created by CAMI (Cool Amphibious Manufacturers International). Thanks to its aluminum-hull design, the vehicle can drive straight from the road (up to 80mph) into water, with a top speed of 7 knots in rivers and lakes. Inside, there’s a full kitchenette set, home theater, and plenty of living space. Next, we have the WaterCar Panther. It’s powered by a 3.7L Honda-sourced V6 engine, good for 80mph on the road an up to 44mph in water. Best of all, the transition from land to sea only takes 15-seconds. Then lastly, there’s the 4WD Gibbs Quadski, an all-terrain vehicle that can hit 45mph on land and water. The 1,300-pound, $40,000 vehicle comes equipped with a 4-cylinder BMW engine that churns out an ample 175-horsepower, complete with a large 15-gallon fuel tank.
