DS Lite LCD Stress Test

Apparently, a "crew" walked into Wal-Mart and decided to stress test a DS Lite screen -- using a person's thumbs -- to see just how strong it really is. Video after the jump.
For those of us that love our DS Lite like it was a third arm, these hooligans that decided to stress test a DS Lite LCD screen have a video up that will just make you squirm

Oh yeah, a bunch of idiots vandalizing an expensive piece of electronic equipment qualifies as "tech news" in my book. DUUURRR I NO LETS GO SMASH A DS SCREEN LOL!!!!11

Typical of today's juvinal delinquents! Little s**** think they can destroy things they didn't pay for, usually that includes the stuff their mommy and daddy buy for them.
3
stop winging they did that in the name of sience.and it shows haw well designed they are maybee nintendo should have used that in their advertising campaign

I'm actually kind of happy to see this despite the obvious hooliganery involved. Looks like the DS lite is pretty resistant to most of the force those guys could deliver. Now someone just needs to find just how much pressure it'll really take to damage your screen. Even if the lcd still works, what about the touch function does that break? ooooo... i'd never hurt my DS.

i think it held up well or that kids a puss

Calm down Jimbo, Walmart doesn't get the display for free and I have no problems ripping off walmart. Pretty impressive the screen holds up to even a little of that abuse. Now, I may just go buy a ds.

I couldnt agree more with Jimbo... This isnt a "stress test"... Its just some spoiled kids that wanna break stuff for the fun of it... And when it actually breaks, they´ll go cry to their mommy and she will buy a new one... If they knew how hard it is to earn money they wouldnt be doing that... Besides, if this were a real stress test, there should be someone talking and explainig why are they doing this... Not just showing some F**ker doing this to a DS...

But, Jimbo, destryoing is fun!

Seems to me that the little losers lost. I didn't see any permanent damage.

Although it doesn't look like there's any damage to the screen, the touch functionality doesn't seem to be working very well, if at all. Stupid kids... here's hoping that b@stards like these get caught

Rybach, you need to learn to spell. You are probably typical of what the schools are churning out lately... delinquents! James, you don't see any problem with it because it's Walmart? Fine, don't like Walmart but don't condone vandalism and theft. Breaking store merchandise and not paying for it is both. Sad...

what a bunch of d-bags,that would have been funny if they got caught

Stop complaining, it probabaly did belong to walmart. For god's sake they could buy nintendo if they wanted.

Problem here is, when the store has to shell out extra money because of dip sh*ts like this, They make us, the consumer shell out more money to buy their products. Like Duh! For those stupid enough who can't understand, it's like this. You hit your finger with a hammer. Ouch! That hurts! Then you sit for about 3 hours wondering why. Yup, meth to you kids these days is like fish with water. Thats ok though, because in the long run, you'll most likely end up in prison. This type of thought process being displayed in the video is the exact type that end up in jail or prison anyways.
